Purchase the Guth 2100 Operational Manual

Updated: May 1, 2022

Acquire a copy of the Guth Laboratories, Inc. "Model 2100 Simulator Operational Manual". This simulator manual is full of valuable information for defence counsel. The Guth 2100 is frequently used in Ontario with the Intoxilyzer 8000C. In some Ontario jurisdictions, the police use a 12 volt slightly modified version. In other wet-bath provinces, the simulator may be a different model, but you should always attempt to acquire a copy of the manufacturer's manual.

This manual is included whenever police purchase a new Guth 2100 simulator. There should be a copy in the breath room.

The manual contains a lot of information about proper use of the simulator. This information will be useful when you cross-examine the qualified technician in the context of the Crown's use of 320.31(1).
