Identity (in the context of the alcohol standard)
Every sealed bottle or canister of alcohol standard has (indicated) a manufacturer, manufacture date, expiry date, target value, lot number, and perhaps bottle number. There are conditions for use (e.g 34 degrees plus/minus .2 C) printed on the side. There are seals. This identification needs to be carefully tracked by police and be available in first party disclosure. A breath test without a traceable cal. check does not comply with the conditions precedent to 320.31. Beyond that, there are continuity issues between solution change officer and subject test qualified technician.
