Certificate of Calibration
A document prepared by the factory or Canadian Authorized Service Centre respecting the original calibration or a subsequent re-calibration of the particular instrument. It should connect results of the instrument at time of use (traceability of the measurement result) with the reality of what a mg and ml really are, because the factory or Canadian authorized Service Centre used (identified in the Certificate) reference standards traceable to the CGPM(BIPM) units in France. Please remember that Canada is a member of the Metre Convention. See also GUM, and OIML documents.
Traceability of Measurement Results is Through the Certificate of Calibration - Not Through the Control Tests Performed by the Qualified Technician
