Accuracy
VIM 2.13 (3.5) closeness of agreement between a measured quantity value and a true quantity value of a measurand. Visualize a group of three darts or arrows around the centre of a target, average their distance from the centre, how far is that average from the centre? Are the arrows close to each other or far apart from each other; if so you may have accuracy but not precision.
