| Texas DUI Attorney | Each following Texas-dui-attorney is a Texas member of the DUI DWI: International Referral Database of DUI, DWI, Impaired and Drunk Driving, Drinking and Driving, Lawyers & Attorneys and has been asked to provide basic Texas information about their practice in Texas . The participants including each Texas-dui-attorney do not practice in association. This database originated with a listserv group of Texas DUI attorneys and other DUI attorneys who wanted to know basic information from DUI attorneys in other provinces and states so that they could refer DUI business. Participation has always been and will continue to be free to any Texas-dui-attorney who certifies that they are a DUI defence or defense attorney, who promises to keep their DUI contributions, including courthouse profiles, legislation sections, and breath instruments information, up to date, and who are willing to create some links to the database from their own DUI web site. Members of the public are invited to visit the links to the profiles for each Texas-dui-attorney and to browse for DUI information herein. Banner advertising on the top of this Texas-dui-attorney page is only available to each DUI attorney who has made significant contributions to the DUI breath instruments database. I am devoted to providing a spirit of excellence in DWI defense and selected criminal cases. I am NHTSA trained and qualified as an SFST (Standard Field Sobriety Test) Practitioner and Instructor. In October of 2004, I assisted in teaching the SFST Practitioner class to 20 attorneys from across the nation at a seminar in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, I completed the Drug Recognition Expert School and I am a former undercover vice officer with the Austin Police Department. I completed the Intoxilyzer 5000 Course as an Operator on the Breathalyzer Machine, one of which I own. I am a participating member of the National College for DUI Defense. The National College for DUI Defense presented his treatise on witness preparation during the 2001 Harvard summer session. Ken Gibson has completed training by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to administer standardized field sobriety tests. Ken is a member of the local criminal defense association and the Texas Criminal Defense Association. Ken spends time each month researching the latest cases, legal treaties, scientific literature, and articles on the subject of drunk driving defense. W. Troy McKinney is a shareholder in Schneider & McKinney, P.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Houston Baptist University in 1981 with a double major in Political Science and Speech. He attended law school at South Texas College of Law, graduating number one in his class -- summa cum laude -- in 1986. While in law school, Mr. McKinney was a member of the Justice Court, the Order of the Barristers, and the Order of the Lytae. He was awarded several American Jurisprudence Awards and also won awards in various moot court competitions. From 1986 through 1987, Mr. McKinney was a briefing attorney for the Honorable Murry Cohen at the First Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas. He has appeared on Donahue, Larry King, A&E, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, TNN, Current Affairs, as well all major networks and a variety of local news programs. Two movies have been made (ABC and HBO) about cases defended by Mr. McKinney. In June 2001 and again in May 2007, the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association named Mr. McKinney the Outstanding Member of the Year. Mr. Hoover is nationally certified as an Intoxilyzer 5000 Operator, Standardized Field Sobriety Instructor and Breath/Urine Alcohol Testing.
