Each following Michigan-dui-attorney is a Michigan member of the DUI DWI: International Referral Database of DUI, DWI, Impaired and Drunk Driving, Drinking and Driving, Lawyers & Attorneys  and has been asked to provide basic Michigan information about their practice in Michigan . The participants including each Michigan-dui-attorney do not practice in association. This database originated with a listserv group of Michigan DUI attorneys and other DUI attorneys who wanted to know basic information from DUI attorneys in other provinces and states so that they could refer DUI business. Participation has always been and will continue to be free to any Michigan-dui-attorney who certifies that they are a DUI defence or defense attorney, who promises to keep their DUI contributions, including courthouse profiles, legislation sections, and breath instruments information, up to date, and who are willing to create some links to the database from their own DUI web site. Members of the public are invited to visit the links to the profiles for each Michigan-dui-attorney and to browse for DUI information herein. Banner advertising on the top of this Michigan-dui-attorney page is only available to each DUI attorney who has made significant contributions to the DUI breath instruments database. We appreciate any Michigan-dui-attorney who has taken the time to provide detailed DUI information below. Mr. Barone was also recently selected as the new executive of The DWI Journal, Law & Science (Whitaker Newsletters, Inc.), a nationally circulated legal periodical dedicated to improving the knowledge and success rate of drunk driving defense attorneys. This publication is recommended reading for all lawyers who wish to become board certificated in DUI Defense by the College for DUI Defense. Mr. Barone is also an adjunct professor at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he teaches a course entitled "Drunk Driving Law and Practice." This is believed to the only dedicated drunk driving course offered at any law school anywhere in the United States. The course combines criminal law, constitutional law, and forensic science into one course, and course topics include the science involved in drunk driving, such as alcohol metabolism, breath and blood testing, and field sobriety testing. Additionally, Barone has taken two police training courses in DUI arrests and is certified as an instructor for standardized sobriety field testing.
