Krishnan , - , Toxicology/Pharmacology, Update In the area of Alcohol Toxicology, Dr. Krishnan’s practice includes all aspects of alcohol in criminal (and civil) cases involving ‘driving while impaired by alcohol’ and ‘driving with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 mL of blood’ charges. Dr. Krishnan has given expert evidence numerous times in i) The absorption, distribution and elimination of alcohol in humans and the calculation of blood alcohol concentration in a given drinking scenario. ii) Effects of alcohol in humans including impairment of driving ability. iii) Effects of alcohol on individual subjects using controlled testing in his laboratory. iv) The operation, accuracy and quality control of breathe testing instruments such as Breathalyzers and Intoxilyzers as well as roadside screening devices.
